You do understand that the mechanic forgot to install it...

Right?

Bud, I hate to tell you but you need a new mechanic.

I just replaced my transmission and forgot to reconnect my cps and had the same problem. If you are driving a cherokee, you have a cps and you will need to reconnect it. Don't take the cherokee anywhere, just buy a part and be on your way. Sounds like your mechanic just forgot to install it again.

It was weird here in Colorado today... Nobody wanted to order pizza deliveries because they were afraid they were going to get shot. Just a strange world sometimes.

What was the verdict on the CPS status?

Did you find the plug?

Awesome. Thanks for the update.

Was it completely missing or just hadn't been plugged in?

Australia is high... that part doesn't cost close to that here.
