Default XJ Clutch and Master/Slave Cylinder Issues and Solving

Model: 1994 Cherokee, Inline6, 5 peed, 240K+ miles.
Issue started when I let my son borrow the Jeep for driving to work and he called saying he couldn’t get it to shift after driving about 8 miles from home.
I get there thinking I was going to tow him off the service road and then home. I pumped the pedal a few times and it let me get it in gear and finish the drive to his job (about 4 more miles). As I was driving it felt like the pedal was catching about halfway then it got to be where it would not catch at all. My first thought was it needed oil in the Clutch master cylinder. I stopped at the parking lot where he works and checked the clutch master cylinder oil, it was full and had no leaks. I was able to drive it home but as I drove it home I noticed I could shift good sometimes and sometimes I could not shift at all. Decided to take the tranny off and change the clutch out. I figured that it was the clutch since there were no leaks or noticeable damage to the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder. Changed the clutch and gave it a test drive around the block, drove it to work the next day and it drove well. I drove it a few more days and noticed that it started to not let me shift at certain times. I bought the clutch master cylinder and changed it out and bled the system. All is working well.

LUK clutch kit includes(clutch disc, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, and small bearing) = ~$125
LUK master cylinder & slave cylinder = $ 88 buks and change.
Got all of these with online purchase and discounts.

Was going to ask where to get the parts for the hydraulics
My Ol's Red '94 5 speed has been in the shop
after replacing the messed up stuff in the clutch the hydraulics started to not hold pressure

the guy At the Transmission place replaced bothe the master & slave but not he hose- still issues- he has been trying to find the full assembly--- it is a 1994 April Manufacture 5 speed inline 6

will see what I can find for the Luk brand

Update:
so the guy at the shop - took out the master & slave he put on the original (to me) line
I eventually found a full assembly

I have been swearing at it since I got it back

a bit of background - I am 5 ft 3 tall & my pants have a 25 inch inseam and a bit pudgy- all you tall folks know where I am going with this)

Transmission guy said it shifted fine- for me not so much

My 6+ft tall spider legged friend came over for a test to see what he thinks- it worked just fine for him- clutch is not as high as he'd like it

I seem to be too short- what seems to me to be on the floor board is not quite

my Legs are too short- If I add a block to the pedal then I would not be able to get my knee up enough- so my choice is to see over the hood or get the clutch in

any idea on adjusting the clutch a hitch higher?
