true story, the 5 led bulb looks great imo, but who knows. Im sure you could build a little deflector shield as well, but i dont think its worth messing with.

i also just read that the dash lights are now on back order until the 9th, so if anyone wants to do this asap i would check other sites.

i looked at auto zone, o'reilys, and napa. None of them really had variety in leds. mostly only sold led bulbs for tails and blinkers. Not to mention the bulbs they had were dangerously overpriced compared to better online options. For the dash lights that are due to arrive tomorrow!! I ordered from v-leds.com. Great site. And I also have a whole bunch of exterior leds on the way i got off of ebay. So i would do the online thing, save money.

I just did a blue led upgrade on my dash lights and a white led upgrade n the rest of my interior lights.

I used products from autolumination.com and am VERY happy with the products and customer service.

It's not cheap, but looking at Cool Blue at night is easy on the eyes. When I owned 18 wheelers it was always the first mod I made to them.

One note, the only 194's in my 2001 XJ are the gear.4wd indicators and map lights. The dash lights are 74's and the the HVAC and defrost and rear wiper switch are Neowedge B (10mm).

ahh! where were you 2 weeks ago lol. Thanks for the info.

can you give us a direct link to the Neowedge B (10mm) bulbs? The reason i didn't order from auto illumination is their site is very hard to navigate.

Cool, and all the LED bulbs just plug right in to the stock connectors? (dunno if any if that changed between '95 and '01 though) Do you know if they make a dark or dim green bulb? I would like to use something to match the rest of my XJ, green with tan interior, and look close to stock, but brighter with a bit more color.

Cool! Same deck as me too! There's a million colors you can set it to, 3 of which make the colors change haha so sweet. So the orange still stands out? And did all the bulbs you bought work even though some other guy listed those neos as the correct ones?

Yes to plugging in.
No to dark green.
They have red, cool blue, amber, blue, and more of a bright green. See the original post to find some in green on wranglerforum.

You can always find out exactly which bulbs you need and how many you need and then hit up ebay. Cheapest prices you'll find and you can probably find just about any color.

Can't guarantee the bulbs will be the same quality though
