good/bad news,
T4's fit the HVAC
my switch bulbs are T3 from comparison.
So yet again im one step away from the completion.
But here is the hvac Which was a pain, had to sand the plastic base of the leds i bought. it was too large to fit all the way through the stock slot but once i sanded a small part off they locked in securely.
Check the floor lights ha, 13 led bulbs. $1.99/pr + free ship on eBay.

Looks great!!!!
Funny, I swapped my HVAC bulbs with my switch bulbs and they fit. Different manufacturer maybe?
It took me three orders following suggestions on a thread on Jeepforum to get mine right. I apologize if any of my info was wrong.

As for the hvac im a little unhappy with the bulbs. They have two small square leds on each of the bulbs and they have a narrow output range, so the red does not show up well on the right dial of the HVAC panel. below is the link to the bulbs i ordered, I have an extra set so I was thinking about drilling holes to mount the extra pair behind the hvac panel. hoping it will work and light up brighter.

Also checked out the Minneapolis auto show this weekend, and what did I see front and center?
Not me in the drivers seat but i got my turn.

Quick question here- Does anybody have the quantity and type/size of bulbs (LED) for a base model 89 manual? So dash, xfer case, and HVAC? I know there were some differences between other older and newer models... Just wanting to see if someone has confirmed for this.
Thanks!

Does the dimmer switch still work with LEDs? I can't stand having my dash lights being bright, so I always have mine at the dimmest it can go. I'd consider doing this, but I don't want it to be too bright.

hey all, been a while and there has been a few updates to my dash led system. BAsically I was wrong before about the switches. The defrosters takes one t3 bulb like i Said but that is just the indicator light that the rear defrost is on. And even with the blue bulb in it still shows orange. I didnt notice that the underside of the switches is where the t4s go like LYKOS posted. Since i wasnt happy with the quality from v-leds i ordered t4s from a different source to complete the dash. Hope the blue matches up.
HVAC-neo wedge t4 bulbs (qty 2)
Switches- Neo wedge t4 bulbs (qty 2), (defroster has 1 t3 indicator bulb, not necessary)

So the LED bulbs are plug and play, pretty much? Are there different types of bulbs I can use? Some easier to install than others? All you do is remove the covers, etc and just unplug/replace? LEDs are pretty cheap, too right? I might want to replace my stock 92 lights with a white or blue LED.
Thanks

The link in the OP has a link to the site the LEDs were bought from. That site has a guide by vehicle for what bulbs replace what. Shouldn't be any different than replacing them with normal bulbs.
