Default XJ: Do you have a rear-air-deflector?

I purchased a NOS rear-air-deflector and wondered if anyone else has one with a photo to how it looks installed?

I know of a Cherokee around my town that has one.

I think they're pretty stupid.

They serve no purpose what so ever. I see them on Blazers and Jimmys all the time. But, too each his own with bolt on dodads.

I looked thru your Google search results... Didn't see any NOS... Just new after-market stuff. Did I miss it?

Personally I don't care for them. I had a S10 Blazer with one and the only time that they come in handy is if you don't have a rear wiper. They do keep the rear window a little cleaner.

It's just simple aerodynamics...The "idea/thought/plan" is to direct air-flow over the rear window to help keep it clean.

I remember, and my member is questionable, seeing these on early model Laredo ( with the chrome package ) & Limited models.

Understood. It is about esthetics and personal preferences. I’m restoring a Wagoneer-XJ and wanted to see how an air-deflector would look. As I installed one on my restored Grand Wagoneer and was pleasantly surprised!

They do serve a purpose and work well.
