Never came from the factory stock. Were only a dealer option. Worked very well at blowing dust off the back window. Installed hundreds of them and the customers loved them.

Interesting... Is that after-market?

Like I said in a earlier post I personally don't care for them and I wouldn't install one if I had a rear wiper. But they do work great if you don't have the rear wiper. I have to admit I would like to install one on my 99 Chevy Tahoe because it doesn't have rear wipes. I other words It's you vehicle, Install it if you want it. They do work for keeping you rear window clean.

I have found one in person. I'm thinking of pulling it since my rear wiper doesn't work. Cruiser, does this one look like OEM or after market?

Factory accessory is what you have there. Exactly what I've been describing. Have on on my XJ. Scrounged it from the JY and I also have a rear wiper to boot.

I just got one from the junk yard. I'm not a huge fan of the looks of them for the most part, but I hate how dirty the back window gets, especially in the snow and rain.

Excellent close-up! A good example of what it looks like installed. Thanks!

Go to Ace with the bolts and a sample of the rubber well-nuts. Ace has the nuts.
