XJ intake.
So, I know that 2000+ model XJ's intakes have better flow. I have a '94 4.0L 2wd, 3" lift. I have the opertunity to buy a 2000 intake bare, for $65.00. Is this worth it, and will my fuel rail, and injectors fit on this newer intake?
One other question, I need to replace the o-rings on my oil filter houseing, I remeber reading somewhere what the part number was for the o-rings, does anyone know where I can get this o-ring kit?
Thanks,
J

for 65 dollars i would buy it...Your current INJ/Rail will fit...but you should look into Ford 24lb Blue top injectors. Also dont expect much gain from the intake without a ported TB.

TB bore is going to be my next thing. Will it kill my gas milage? I get like 22 MPG now, also, are those injectors better? will they work with the ECM?
Thanks,
J

More air=more fuel plain and simply. The Ford 24LB injectors are WAY better due to the fact that they spray fuel from 4 holes Vs. 1 like the Chrysler Injectors. they are a direct plug in........All the above equal less throttle having to be applied to do the same before the mods....so it should get a little bit better.

yea the spray pattern is really all that makes it worth your while. just make sure you get the right one when you upgrade, different year jeeps have different flow ratings and voltage ratings
