XJ Radiator

XJ Radiator
Hi All - I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 Liter, AW4 Trans, A/C, W/Tow Package. I would really like to find an heavy duty OEM Radiator for it. My current radiator is the OEM plastic tanked, aluminum core and I know its only a matter of time before it fails, because it's going on 18 years. I have looked on Mopar parts but everything is discontinued and the one that I did find, from a superseded number, is definitely not an equivalent. My current radiator is part number 52080104AC. Has anyone had any luck sourcing a good heavy duty OEM radiator? If not, any recommendations on a good aftermarket that will keep my jeep cool in 120+ degree ambient temps? I have looked at so many radiator brands online and when I read the reviews, everyone of them seems to have some kind of issue whether its quality or poor fit.
Thanks!
Thanks!

CSF Copper Core, Brass tanks, 2 row.
Here's the one at Rock Auto.

Got one like it on my '88 Laredo with Tow package. Installed back in 2007.

Thanks! I have looked at them and I see they offer a 3 row. Did you eliminate the closed system on your 88 and go to a pressure cap with an over flow tank/recovery bottle? How did the trans cooler lines fit? Did you use the OEM quick disconnect fittings?

No I still have the closed system. I still even have the heater valve. Mine also has the aux trans cooler. As I recall, I had a leak at the brass fitting for the upper trans line on the rad. The sealing surface had a small ding (I assumed from shipping). I took the fitting out of my old rad, swapped and it sealed fine. Everything else fit fine. Temps run pretty normal, about 200-ish routinely, 210-ish in slow traffic or heavily loaded. Aux fan rarely comes on unless I turn on the AC.
I also recall going through a bunch of threads about 2 row vs 3 row. At the time I concluded that the 2 row would work better for me, my driving style and the terrain I would typically encounter. Mine is 2wd so I don't go off road (at least, not on purpose), but do encounter lot's of rush hour traffic and a few mountainous passes (living in the general LA area).
Here's a link from Summit on 2 vs 3.

Thanks! I appreciate it! I'll read the article. My jeep is a daily driver and in Vegas our traffic is getting as bad as California, so a lot of stop start slow moving in high temps. My current oem radiator works great and I'm amazed it still has no leaks. I had an 88 Cherokee years ago and I replaced the radiator with an after market copper brass and I had trans cooler fitting issues as well.
