I have a 1990 Laredo that has a sunroof. About a year and a half ago one of the clips that hold the glass down stripped out and I almost lost it on the road. I never got around to fixing that so me being a unintelligent teenager, I put duct tape on the front side of the sunroof to hold it in place and figured it would be fine since it still had one clip. This morning I was driving down the road doing 35 and I heard a loud POP and I looked up and my sunroof was flipping up. I slowed down hoping to "catch" it with the speed of my car. But when I looked in my mirror I realized I was not quick enough. I saw it flipping through the air and then hit the ground, shattering. My question is, does anyone know where to buy just the glass and not the whole sunroof assembly or has anyone done a simple replacement with other material such as plexiglass, lexan, or acrylic sheeting? Thanks in advance

What brand?
The glass is pretty much (well in your case used to be) "the whole sunroof assembly". lol

The site I found is SFC sunroofs and they sell the whole thing for $230

Naw, he painted that on there to remind himself that if he goes over 30 it'll take flight like the sunroof did. ..

I had the sign laying around. It was found on the side of the road when they came back through and replaced them. The funny thing is that the sunroof came off at 35..

Regardless of where the sign came from, if you get pulled over or spotted by law enforcement, can get a ticket for possession of state property.

If its a factory sunroof maybe a junkyard or ebay.If its a aftermarket one good luck.
