Default Xj, why you so wet?

My entire underbelly of my jeep is wet of oil. Now I've had a pretty good rear main seal leak for a year so is it just the oil getting picked up in the wind when I drive or could there be some other place I'm leaking oil. I changed out my rms, valve cover gasket and oil filter rings which all seem like they're doing their job. I noticed the leak coming through hole on the bottom of the starter and the entire drivers right side of block is wet while the left is dry. I'm plannin on changing out the RMS for the third time this weekend unless you guys have any good input on where else this leak is coming from.

Here's some pics

Thanx

could be valve cover gasket, oil filter adapter o ring, oil pan, rear main. those are the common ones. start replacing from the top down.

Where I come from it's called "automatic rust preventive". Highly sought after.

Different order, but same things.

If you want it to stop leaking you gotta do gaskets.

Do the valve cover, then oil filter adapter.

Wipe everything down (don't get lazy and power wash)

If it's still leaking, after this, it'll be easy to source it.

I seem to recall that the timing cover can develop a hard to find leak or something about the cam thrust thingy?, and also at the back of the engine around the cam?
But I would run back over the basics for good measure.

Was thinking timing cover as well.

I had an annoying leak at the front of my engine, ended up to be front crank seal, kinda looked like pic #6. It wasn't too bad to fix, took about 2 hours

In my arrogant attempt to make an 8 hour drive with the leak not fixed I only lasted an hour til the leak started spitting out worse and got all over the tail pipe creating a huge cloud of burning oil scary everyone on the road

Wow! Frame and cross member so clean, exhaust pipe is so crusty! Is that from the oil?

The crustyness is from mudding, and then the dark hue is from the oil
