Xj, why you so wet?

If it's wet at the front of the block, I'd look at the timing chain cover. I had a leak and did the VC and oil pan and it didn't fix it. It turned out that over half of my timing chain cover gasket was gone. I went ahead and replaced the crankshaft seal while I had it apart. it hasn't leaked a drop in two years now.

I only ask cause off and in park my leak makes it's way to the bottom of the flywheel cover at the back end of the block below the rms...everything aft of that is pretty wet....as for forward, after I degreased it to look for source it has stayed dry.
