Default Yet another cooling ?

I'm trying to replace my water pump. I have the Haynes manual, but it's not helping much. How am I supposed to loosen/remove serp belt?
This pic is looking down on power steering with the water pump on the left.

Which bolts do I loosen?

Of course, it's a 2001 Sport.

Loosen up the idler pulley below the power steering pump, then the bolt that's on the side close to the thermostat housing is what loosens and tightens the belt.

Got the belt, now struggling with the pulley on the water pump. Bolts are out just won't let go. I gave up when it got dark so I'll try again when I get out of work in the morning.

OK, I still can't get the pulley off of the water pump. What's the trick? Is there something more than the 4 bolts holding it in place? If I can do it without removing the rad, all the better.

does it have two fans or just one? if it has two fans you can just pull the fan for the a/c and that gives you alot more spce to work with ....

Got new water pump, t-stat and housing in. Still running a little hot. Temp gauge sits right around 210. I know I need a new radiator(stupid plastic tanks) and that'll probably happen next weekend. But that leak is more like a slow drip, even at running temp.
What could be the problem now or is it the rad giving me grief?

210°F+/- is what the XJ normaly runs at. Just keep an eye on the rad with a 2001 and the 0331 head you usually only get one shot at overheating. is it leaking near the plastic tank(s)?

Yeah, it's just in from the draincock, but not at it. Pretty much where the plastic meets the fins.

It overheated pretty good, so I may be in for more repairs. Oh well.

Conveniently someone posted a 3 row all metal rad on Craigslist in my town Sunday for $175. Guess what's sitting on my back porch now...a nice shiny new CSF 3 row.
Looks like I know what I'm doing this weekend.

How do I get this off? I would rather not cut, but if I must, so be it.

It's the only thing between me and my new rad.
