Yet another floor pan replacement
I finally got my Comanche floor pans done. I’m grateful for all the information everyone has shared about doing this job.

2 questions
Did you remove any floor board material or just add metal over the top of existing?
What's the area look like from under the jeep? Looks like yours trans is missing so there's plenty of room under there

Yes, I removed the rusty metal and used rust converter and epoxy paint to seal.
I was putting in a new clutch and decided to fix the pan. The rest of the chassis looks great. There was a leak from the cowl area that caused the rust.
I found the inside of the frame rails were almost spotless and looked like they were coated from the factory. My ‘99 Cherokee was almost bare metal inside the same area and had a fair amount of surface rust.
