my heater gets warm but not hot, I have flow thru both heater hoses. its a 99 xj 4.0 with 236K miles

Since changing my radiator and water pump it runs at the dash before 210, from reading different posts 210 is normal but it never reaches it, could this be the issue.

Also when i turn the heat selector to the last/hottest the blend door motor doesnt keep turning it stops at second to last hotest spot ( sorry if this doesnt make sense). Anyways could the blend door motor not turning the whole way to hot cause it??

My XJ is causing alot of heartache with its issues, but i cant give up on her, its just too darn of a reliable vehicle. tho i do have at least another $1000 to put into it.

 

The blend door is vacuum operated, behind the glove box is a junction of vacuum lines you could have a leak there not letting the door close all the way.

 

i think in the 99 its a electric motor for blend door actuator, at least i can see the motor and the center turns when i turn the heat selector.
