So now i have another problem... one after another... a week ago my steering wheel was straight up and down... maybe alittle to the left... today its pointed to the bottom right... it slowely turned to the left almost 3/4 of the way around... I also cant turn to the left worth a crap now... and can turn to the right like wayyyy far... but it still drives straight down the road... well its always pulled alittle to the right but it hasnt changed any... im thinking the gear box is slipping gears... but i wanted to run it by you guys first... thanks again and im sure itll be something else next week ill have to post about!!

 

this sounds rather odd and im just throwing out an idea. could the pitman arm possibly be slipping around the shaft and getting into a bind somehow? again its just an idea

 

check your Draglink, theres a bar with 2 clamps on it usually.. if its loose it would explain why your steering wheel is going up and down but your alignement is still straight.

check your steering shaft, had an s10 years ago and the rag joint disintegrated on me and it would do exactly what your describing, i'm lucky i'm not dead i guess lol
