The rest of us and "jeep unit" sat there for about 30-45 minutes to wait it out and see how things went. We eventually decided that we should head back and get the kids settled in. That's when I had to get friggin food, my dumb *** hadn't eaten since the morning and we were already coming up on midnight. It was after I ate, that eric and I decided to head back and see what was going on. Jason had actually stayed at the trailhead the whole time waiting for everyone to get out of the busy. Rossi finally got Brandon's jeep out just after 1am. Thanks for everyone's patience, things definitely could have gone better at the end of the trail tho. The only person who ha actually run the busy before was buck, even I was running blind on the trail
Yeah, all of this or at least most of it would have been avoided if I had known you guys were going to run the Busy Wild instead of having to jump through my butt to catch up to you. Branden's jeep was already broken when I finally caught up to you all. I totally knew there was the ultra hard line through there which where he broke his Jeep. Alex, you should remember that spot well. That very spot where I saw Branden pounding on his Jeep when I pulled up, was where TIM (CHEROKEEFEVER) broke his Jeep last summer running the trail when it was dry. That is also the spot where you turned around. You hadn't seen anymore of the trail than that. I also knew there was an easier line through that spot. I laso knew there was a simple bypass along side that required no winching or beating on your Jeep. Don't mean to sound like I'm pointing a finger at you but you kinda sound like you're pointing a finger at me at the end of that message, for not being there. Some simple communication would have had me there leading you guys through the whole trail. Whose brilliant idea was it for you to lead a bunch of 1st timers through that trail when you hadn't even been through the "whole" trail before yourself. The blind leading the blind through a trail like the Busy Wild results in exactly what you all saw happen Saturday night, everytime. We ought to count ourselves lucky just a Jeep was demolished. That just as easily could have been "Somebody" hurt, with a bunch of 1st timers, with no experienced guide, in the dark, basically running the Busy Wild, blind.
