i will only use the lap belt being the driver. the girlfriend will be using all the harnesses when i tell her "buckle up, we are gonna do somethin stupid!" lol

yes i have. i ran a piece of square tube from frame rrail to frame rail for the top mount and then made some little mounts for the axles. they will be triangulated a bit so that they wont bottom out or over extend. im sticking with some bilstein 12" travel shocks

I run the 12" bilstein 5100s up front and really like them. I had the bilstein 10" 5150s in the rear which I like even more but they broke in half... Any bilstein shock is good. I won't buy another brand

wel i got some price quotes on parts yesterday. looks like wednesday i will be picking up my braided brake line and hard lines to finish up the rear brakes and then dropping off my tom woods driveline at the local driveline shop to get it retubed, extended, and balanced. the 3' braided line is about $30 custom made and the driveline is gonna be around $150 to get extended. should have it back in a day though so the jeep might be mobile by friday!

It's $150 just to get it re-tubed? I need to get mine extended to 42" and was wondering about how much it costs. What length do you need for yours?

the past 2 days i have gotten a bit more done.

-changed diff fluid front and rear
-got brakelines made and installed
-rear driveline extended and installed
-hubs regreased
-all joints in the arms greased
-welded muffler on in place of cat

i also took her for a spin. without the rear shocks on it sways a bit when going around corners. i flexed it out the best i could also.

new driveline. i found this tom woods driveline at the local swap meet for only $20! then i had it cut and lengthened.

installed

rear brakelines installed. ran a braided line along the upper control arm

sprayed the jeep down. was collecting a bit of dust in the shop lol

did some stretchin

picking up a brand new set of bilstein 5125 12" travel early next week. hopefully i will pass emitions. i have no catalytic converter now because i cant fit that and a muffler under the jeep anymore. then should be at evans creek opening weekend to test it out!

I have been able to see this rig in person a couple times now. Very impressive and very big is all I have to say. Can't wait to see it on the trail.
