well the first run out with the jeep was a success! i found a few things i need to tweak but other than that im very pleased!

since i am on spring break this week i figured i would do something productive. every time i look at the jeep i keep feeling that it looks incomplete without the front fenders. so i decided to fix that issue. here is my progress so far

still need to finish a small section on one side then grind down all the welds on the flat surfaces and shoot a coat of paint on them. not sure if i like them yet... we will see how it looks once its painted. i might throw some turn signal lights on the front of the flares

Nice work. When I saw it on Saturday I was thinking that the fenders were the only thing that looked incomplete. I really want to do tube fenders like that someday.

I have been trying to think of a way to do it without welding to the bumper. I am gonna bolt some up to the fenders and see how well thw get pushed in. I really don't want supports connecting to the "frame" I would rather just pull the flimsy fenders back out. Looks good though.

I think a flat fender style would look better. Instead of the bend down on the front bend it in and tie it to the cage support, just an idea and a easy fix, or it may grow on you As always built is better then bought any day

Still looking good, your right though something don't look right from the front though. Think might be right to try to throw some lights or something on the front part to offset it a little but still looking good man.

I think it's the small "head lights" that are throwing it off. Try adding something maybe a little bigger and some turn signals on the front of the fender.

Ok, Been following this for a ------------LONG-------- while. And my LCA mounts took a crap again and instead of bandaiding it yet again, I'm gonna "toss" leaves under the front of the Jeep. What leaves exactly did you use?I've read over your build again and again and can't find it
