Might be the pic but looks like the arms hang pretty low. Are you worried about that?

Everything looks great by the way

The frame mounts are 3/8" steel with a few welds across them im not too worried about them going anywhere. I debated on boxing them in and decided against it since this thing wont see terrain and the horsepower necessary to break the welds.

The arms hang down a little bit but no worse than normal longarm kits. I dont do any serious rock crawling so i dont see the breakover angle being an issue. The most i will do is play on the moon/funny rocks and maybe a couple trips to Moab.

So far i am happy with the outcome! A few more details to finish up and then we will see what this thing can do!

you can see the tcase skid in place also

doesnt look too bad from the side angle

i also got my PS resevoir mounted back in the engine bay. my tube for the cross bar over the motor comes tomorow along with my ruff stuff specialties battery tray which should just about finish up everything.

and the list gets shorter...
-mount coolant bottle
-mount battery
-build crossover bar
that looks good bro, your build is sick.

got my battery box from ruffstuffspecialties. its specific for an optima battery and it fits like a glove! i was planning on mounting the battery behind the front seat but i managed to make enough room in the engine bay to keep it up front. i made a couple little mounts and welded the battery box in place. i dont have a picture of where i mounted it but it will soon come

i also went to the junk yard today and found a smaller coolant bottle that will be easier to fit in the engine bay. not sure what it came out of but it was a smaller car. i also measured my driveline and will now need to get it lengthened at the local driveline shop

whats left;
-mount new coolant bottle
-build crossover bar
-get driveline lengthened

I found a overflow res. from a honda civic that was small I thought would work ok. Its too small though and the fluid when heats up expands and overflows out the bottle and when cool contracts and sucks the bottle empty.

Nice batt holder

ya i was thinking that would happen. but i will soon be putting in a aluminum radiator and im hoping that will help with the cooling so i wont have to worry too much about the small bottle. i will just have to see how it works i guess

got her out of the garage finally! took it to the scale house to see how much this pig weighed and was pleasantly suprised. jeep only weighs about 3600lbs! i was expecting more than that haha but just driving it up and down the driveway i can already tell the difference in the ride of the front suspension.
