az40cal, I have not been to chiva in my stocker, so I don't know if one can make it (I went in a long arm, 8 inch lift, 38 inch tire, wrangler, so that was easy).
Also, do you shoot? I'm guessing you do because of your name, haha.

Merry Christmas All!
I hope everyone has a safe and happy holidays. Watch out for the nuts out there.
Nasonguy, yes I do shoot. However, not to often since moving to Tucson. Time is the biggest issue. I do want to get out more this coming year though.
I'm having a guy I found on CGL start on my new rear bumper next week. I will finalize the deal on Monday. For $400. he is building a swing out rear bumper.

Let me know what you all think.
Next weekend I am dropping tha tank to do the fuel module. Then I will see if that 85 skid will work. Also, I may try and get the powertrax in that has been sitting on my desk for two months. See if I can fit it in depending on how much I have to work.
Talk to everyone soon.

Sounds like you got your plate full Az40cal!
What do you do for a profession? I'm in IT, so not a lot of time either, haha.
If you ever wanna go plinking up reddington or something, let me know, I can do most anything on Saturdays, those are my "unscheduled" days, haha.
By the way, my name is Nason, if you wanna call me that. And yes, it's pronounced like "Jason", but just with an "N".

Nothin like hot brass
Nason,
Will have to definitely take you up on that. I recheduled my fuel module replacement for new years weekend. But I would like to get a January Saturday on the calendar to head out.
I started a construction company in '07. While specializing in residential remodel and new additions, I am branching off into light commercial remodel and TI buildouts.
Does any of your IT work take you into smart home structured wiring or config?
Welcome Richard.
Monster, in my book theres running hot, overheating, and then overheated to the point of siezing up. How early/late did you catch it?

That's cool Richard.
I used to do that kind of stuff with my father, no commercial stuff, strictly residential remodeling and other "handy-man" kind of stuff. Although there were a couple whole house remodels (like, gutted to the 2X4's remodel) and more than a few additions (we did everything, rough in, electrical and plumbing, finish work, paint, flooring, everything... He was certified in everything too.). It's cool stuff, it was a really rewarding time of my life, getting to see the things that I helped create.
My job in IT isn't really that old, I haven't seen too much of the smart home stuff, I know about it, but haven't had the chance to work with it.
Any ways, Monster, is it even cranking? Does it make an effort to start (coughing, sputtering...)? I had a car once that I "seized" the motor, all I did I think was melt the rings and the cylinder walls, it would crank hesitantly, have a hint of cranking a little faster (like it was gunna start) and then go back to barely cranking.
It all depends on how long it was over heated, and how bad...
Also, head gasket is a good thing to check also...

Do you all do many runs in southern AZ? Like Tucson area, or even Phoenix?

there are alot of runs up around PHX area and we have yet to do a anything in the Tucson area, being that its a drive most of us would do it but it would have to be an overnight trip, since you just joined why not plan a run in your area, we love to see new trails.
