As I understand it you can probably get all the parts from one parting out on craigslist.
Unless you have the money for two vehicles/maint/tags/ins/etc.
Well the thing is, i got this vehicle for free pretty much. I inherited it after my aunt passed away.

Im still in highschool. I still want to convert it, but the rents say "oh its too much money and work, blah blah blah." otherwise i would do that in a heartbeat.

So i make do with what i have for now.

Hey fellas its been a while since Ive last posted....Havent done much too the jeep due to death in the family.
So Im finanlly starting on a lilttle project for my 94. Its gonna be a roughcountry 4.5"longarm front set-up. Thats going to be orderd soon.
So Starting on the rear Im going custom set-up. Im gonna do a rear shackle relocation with ajustabilty and custom fit leaves to help with pinion angles. Im hoping to net around 5.5" in the rear.

Seems for the most part it's full of reasons folks can't wheel, fix's vehicles need, equipment vehicles might receive to make them wheel-able and other miscellaneous trivia.

This thread needs to be about people who want to wheel, not people posting just for posterity about how they’d like to but cannot because they have to clip their toenails.

I will unsubscribe to this thread, notify the administrators to delete this “going for a drive on a dirt road, post up a lame reason why you cannot attend” deal.

This is a waste of bandwidth.

I have to agree. The thread has strayed from its original purpose. But i also question why you really care? i dont think you've posted anything other then a couple times, and maybe one little trip. So my question why? In not trying to be disrespectful but rather curious.

I'd love to go wheeling, and as such check in here often.
I don't post because there is seldom anything regarding an actual wheeling trip with a date posted to plan around.

Take Care.

Maybe we should just change this to a typical "BS" thread...

I originally started this thread to facilitate a regular gathering, with the understanding that I wouldn't make all of them because I live in Tucson, not in Phoenix like most everyone else. I did it because people kept on talking about getting something together and saying "oh, maybe I'll start a thread" and basically twiddling their thumbs, so I just started the thread to get the ball rolling.

In light of what it's become, I think it would be better to just edit the title, remove the poll (if possible), and continue to post here.

Just because you don't like what the thread has become doesn't mean you need to delete it for the rest of us who use it daily...

i agree with nasonguy, i dont think it should be deleted.
maybe we can start over and start a brand new thread strictly for the purpose of going wheelin only when we have dates we are actually going to go, then only the people who really are going to show up and participate post responses. just an idea because i really have been wanting to do charlou gap and others around tucson, but no one has really followed up on who and when to make it happen.
lets not have any arguments on here, lets just fix it and make it happen.
just my 2cents

Mike. I didnt want to start any kind of arguement. I was just wondering what your thinking was, thats all.

My opinion, take it for what its worth, but change the title if possible and make it a BS thread. If there are wheeling trips post up a seperate thread and alert everyone on the BS that there is a trip, just in case that "one guy" doesnt check the thread listing and just checks the bs thread. My $.02
