I would like to suggest a trip March 20-21st. I should have my plastic tank armored by then. I am planning on heading out through Reddington to Redfield Canyon in the San Pedro Valley, then follow the road on to Benson somehow. I will study the maps as I get things rounded out. I will be camping and spending the night. Mostly exploration, I haven't been in the area before. I will keep this post updated as it gets closer. Sorry guys, but I have to plan this far in advance to make it happen with my work schedule.

Tankerblade,
Nice way of putting it. I now know you do not have a rainbow sticker on your XJ!
Also, as long as no one objects to heating up some brass. I like to plink a little when out. Just a heads up for those who do not. If nasonguy comes along I think he would be willing to participate.
Also, it will be my stepson and a buddy with his son. No wifes on this trip. Also fair warning.
I have 6 cd's of topo maps for the state and will print them up for the area. I live on the way and all are welcome to rendevous at my pad to head out- or a breakfast joint.

I'm down for heating brass anytime, haha. Although, it will most likely be steel for me (AK-74)... haha...
The no wifes rule might be a deal breaker, I'll have to talk it over with her. She really really likes four wheeling with me, as well as sleeping with me, haha...

The no wives was just for this one trip. I would like to do another trip- a day run instead of an overnighter to break mine in softly. I've ran my yap for years about getting out, but have only been able to pull off the Ram/trailer family camp experience. So, with converting from the never ending 84 project to using this 01- its time to get with it.
Still looking for the skid however. I will update my readiness as soon as I get it. Otherwise the 21st is the first outing for me.

Ya, no prob. I can start a new thread. Let's let it get a little closer and I'll do so.
Are there any other cool spots? Perhaps we can start a list in this thread of to do spots. We can then perhaps just assign them to a month and whoever can go-goes.
Does everyone watching this thread prefer day runs or overnighters?
I've been up on Mt. Graham, and played around. Has anyone been around Klondyke? I hear several trails are now closed in the area.
