Is there anything good that is farther south? I liked the trip I took to Surprise last week, but I didn't like driving two and a half hours each way to get there....

bummer. I really don't want to drive that far two weeks in a row...
I'm probably just going to mess around out on some trails this weekend out in Vail AZ if any one wants to come way down south, haha...

Where I went, mostly just trails, with a coupld little hills and stuff to play on, nothing nearly close to getting stuck or flipped or wrecked...
There are two places though, one being just north of Tucson (meaning closer to you guys) that is extremely technical, lots of rock gardens, really slow going, tons of hard obstacles, it's pretty hard core, check it out here: http://www.4x4wire.com/trail/report/az/charouleaugap02/ , it's called Charouleau Gap.
There's a bunch of stuff up Reddington pass that is just outside of East Tucson, here's one... http://www.4x4wire.com/trail/report/az/tanktraps00/
