I would have been down, but I don't have a valid permit for there and since I'm working all day I won't be able to get one. I miss the days when the tonto office was open on saturdays.

just go to any circle k gas station.... 24/7 you can get one! all you need is the permit and ONLY if you park your vehicle and leave it unattended.

btw. since today as aug. 1st. it was officially the first of the month's wheeling trip. only got 4 cherokees. but some real good trails were run! a little on trail damage and a few butt pucker moments on a side hill climb! but man wa it fun!
btw that hill was steep enough to almost cause our jeeps to roll over. the picture makes it look like a shallow hill...

I get the feeling im the only one who gets damage...haha
The damage to the hatch is pretty good. Its jammed in pretty good. So wont open. And we think it pushed the bumper in ever so slightly. But man i can now attest that 96's bumper is bomb proof haha. well heres a slightly better pic of the damage. Enjoy

NEW PHOTOS!!!
btw. the name of this hill is called pucker hill. we named it today.
the reason being is that.. the hill is a rutted mess that is just steep. you know like the you have a hard time walking up or down because you keep sliding it is so steep? photos dont document well... But i almost made it up and over until i hit that last rock and the front passenger tire wanted to come up, you are already looking at the sky and then that happened so i called it quits. I was not going to risk a roll over-no shots of my 2 attempts. Dahnk choose a different line and has a rear locker so he made it up and over with a little bounce... But on the way down with the engine now pulling the vehicle and the rear end being so light the rear kept wanting to come up and over... so i ran up the best i could to use my body weight to keep the rear end of the jeep down.... it makes your butt cheeks hurt a little bit... Thank goodness for great brakes!

I didn't even leave the wash. I saw 96 lining up to go up it and was like nah I good here. Pretty good name for that hill maybe I'll go up it in the future (far future).
