Damn, it's almost like we should have a monthly garage meetup as well as a wheeling trip.

haha guys, we've never had this much interest before for a garage run haha

n_a_i_w its in chandler...so kind of a drive for you unfortunately...

mrfixit welcome to the boards, your more then welcome to tag along, your stock XJ can do quite a bit, anywhere i can go, you can go since i have a 2wd...

Chrisonline we might just have to try to start it up, would be interesting...

On a side note, since everyone is getting together on sat, anyone interested in a sat night run? Nothing to hard but is fairly easy, i kind of want to get out. If we did go out, as long as your headlights were decent you'll be fine. Just throwing it out there. Any thoughts?

Well it's not a %100, but my offer has been accepted for the house I've been looking at so I will host a wrench party in the near future.

Hey so coming home from pinetop and couldn't help but drool over the superstitions and how beautiful they are. Anyone know of any trails that are on/ close to them? And how hard they are? I'm down to go up there if. My jeep could do it

I know of lots of good hiking trails in those mountains.

Closest trail to get a jeep on is probably Montana Mountain, its fairly easy.

Getting there: Four-wheel drive recommended. From Florence Junction drive two miles east on U.S. 60 to Queen Valley Road. Turn left and drive another two miles to Hewitt Station Road (Forest Road 357). Turn right and follow FR 357 3.5 miles to FR 172. Turn left on FR 172 and go about 15 miles to FR 172A. Follow this route another three miles to Rogers Trough trailhead.

been up there 1 new years and it was cold and icy on the back side going to globe but i cant remember ever using 4x4

that is a great trail!! you only might need 4x4 in one spot and it is a sharp 270* turn that goes strait uphill.

here are some pictures of rogers troth

rogers troth itself is a hiking trail, and you can make it the way you are now
