If anybody knows web design that'd be great since that's not my specialty.
My plan is to actually create an issue, in small supply, and distribute to people in Colorado. More as a test run. I actually would like to do it to every 4 corners state. So I will need help there. It looks like I have helpers in UT already so I need the 2 others to jump in

I think its a great idea. I read 4wheeler, peaterson, and offroad but its alwasy the same o junk. Them building a new rig. A few rigs they saw on the trails and then bull****. I would love to read about places around here that people go to and run. Like good places to take the family and see nice things. Or trails that would test your jeep. And people in diff built jeeps running the trails. Like how low built can you be to make the trail, or how well built should you be.
I think its a great idea. We could write our own blogs, then you post them or print them. People who have ran the trail first had.
I support you %100. I also know web design. As I took many classes in high school, and built my high school web page lol.
I love the idea of peoples own build. Yes everyone can build a jeep in the shop. I would love to read about people building there own jeep in there garage. I think thats great.
And local shops that you can go to. Maybe even people who build junk out of there garage, but its good quality. You dont have to have a shop to build stuff. I would like to know who I could go to around here that would build something for me, but not cost a arm and a leg. He/she just build it for fun and in there extra time

I like Chad's idea, the whole find local people who build stuff. What a great way to expose entrepreneurs or those who do it cause they love it

I've done my share of web design with high school classes too haha. I like the idea of having trail reports from different levels of jeeps hitting the trails. I like reading about rock crawling and very intense trails and such but it really doesn't apply to me all that much since my jeep isn't all that far from stock. Reading trail reports from moderately modded jeeps like mine would be a pretty cool addition!

Excellent ideas and all up the right alley. I was brainstorming a couple other plans which include...
1. The layout of the first 4 issues.
2. I want to also do a 4x4/offroad club profile. Get in contact with the clubs, who runs them, members, etc etc and then tag along with them for one of their runs and just get a good idea of the heart and work behind each club and the members who are part of it. I think for each state that will give readers a good idea of what the other scenes are about.
3. The name of the magazine. Ive known for awhile what I wanted to call it but finally took the steps to get it.
If anybody would like to help, please know that it will be on a volunteer basis as of now. Im not a billionaire so I cant pay you. In the future id love nothing more than to be able to pay for contributions and permanent staff, but for now, its all volunteering.

In the Mile high state! COLORADO
Same here. I love reading reports of hardcore trails thats buggies and stuff ran. Even though my jeep cant do it, its fun to read about. I think having reports from diff levels of jeep give each person a diff outlook on a trail.
Let saw a jeep on 35's locked f&r does a trail. He reports that the trail was moderate. Never had to engage lockers, but had some difficulty is sports
Then another jeep runs it. 31's open/open. Deff a challenge. Difficult in alot of spots, took multiple trys to find the right line, but made all obstacles. Was a challenge.
That right there tells me that, o its a tougher trail for less built jeep, but is still fun to do in a built jeep. Also say what was great about the trails and the time of year. Like during fall great aspens. During spring great flower basens. Stuff like that is going to make people more **** to running trail in my eyes

That would for sure express the difficulty level opposed to the 1-2-3-4-5 star ratings. Something guys like us can be familiar with and maybe what is recommended for that trail? I kinda like a section of what you need to bring to the trail for newbies. Too many times did I get on the trail when I found myself and one other person out of 4-5 rigs be the only ones with a shovel and tow strap.
