Couple more things...
1. I forgot to say the name of the actual magazine, duh! Its going to be called... *drumroll*....... 4x4Corners
2. My plan for the first 4 issues will be that each issue is dedicated to each state. So Colorado first, Utah, New Mexico, and Arizona last. The issues will be 80% that state. I want to make sure each state is profiled and all the other states have a good understanding of what each one represents. After the 4 issues are released I will go back to normal and mix it up.
The trail reports will be as descriptive and informative as I can get. Im with you guys on the complaints about other trail reports and its time to change that! So guys with a 3in lift, 8in lift, open, locked, and everything in between will understand what is laid out in front of them.
All the input has been awesome so far from you guys so keep it up! Thanks

Something you might think about doing is opening a social group called 4x4corners on this site! In there people could post informative trail reports, upload pics, & it would-be more organized than a long thread or 100s of emails.
Give it a look

Yes that's gonna be a regular section that I plan on putting a lot of time into. It'll have a whole area dedicated to a local 4x4er with his rig and an interview, etc.

I want the first one out in July/Aug, so I can go to Utah before the snow comes. However I want it done asap so I'm gonna work hard to do that.

This sounds awesome. you should get people with GPS to go on trails in their area and get the printouts of the mapping from the GPS for each trail.

I really really wanna be a part of this, somehow lol.... I'm pretty good with detail work, remembering things, taking notes, snapping pics, etc... Doing trail rides would probably be a strong suit, whether I drive or not, I could take down detailed info on several rigs, note who struggled, what recovery gear was used / needed, etc. etc... I dunno, I wanna help some how lol
