i think that jeep is still fine....just chop the top add a cage and its good to go...

That sounds like it. Really nice looking xj. I'm glad my current project (xj) has a big community of enthusiasts. Can't wait till we can get a night meet together now that its getting warmer. Seems like there is a lot I can learn from ya'll.

Oh by the way anyone have or know where to get non power window doors for a 4 door let me know. I'm doing some half doors and it would make it easier to have a crank window as a full door then swap to the half's when I'm out.

id say just go to u pull and pay they have so many cherokees there and the majority are crank windows also theirs parts go for cheap too

they have a butt load of xj's

or check craigslist there were a few cherokee's going for parts on there

Cool, sounds like that's my plan then. I haven't gone to you pull it since I've had my xj so I wasn't sure if non power windows were common or not.

they are super common when i was trying to find automatic windows all i found was crank so it sould be real easy

worked yesterday on my half doors they will be done hopefully in time for GoTopless day if i get another day or two to work on them

nice! throw some pics up of the doors when youre done with them.

put some 32s on my beater...2in lift up front 0 in the back lol. its kinda ridiculous.... hack the fenders to fit right? haha

im with you about the wind i need to pressure spray my front carpet its all pulled out and hung in the back yard now i just need the wind to stop so i can spray it and put it back in

Hey Alan I found a wrench for the cap on the rear bumper in my tool box. Stop by my work sometime to get it if you want it.

so i have alot of play and slop in my steering
well iv never really given it much thought because it works and its not a land rover or anything expensive
but iv been looking at upgrading my steering anyone have any good companies??

i kinda like the Rustys conversion
