I just came in a U-Haul there then had my xj shipped out there by trailer threw some company cuz my buddy/roommate had his built 87 stang on a trailer behind it so I couldn't trailer it myself. It cost me $300 I think??? But was nice since I had a 4cyl xj then...

You go south threw holbrook down to payson and thru the westside of Phoenix. It cuts an hour off the drive and is All down hill unlike going down the 17 from flagstaff..

You, you take the i-40 out of Alb,
take exit 286 south to AZ-77/US-180/AZ-377...........3 miles
turn right on AZ-377 to heber.........33 miles
turn right on AZ-277 to payson.........6 miles
turn right on AZ-260 to payson.......53 miles
turn left on AZ-87/AZ Beeline.......70 miles
and that will take you right to the 202 which ASU is off of! and i drove up near payson (20 miles from) and went wheeling yesterday and drove back and i used 1/2 tank of gas and i used 3rd gear a few times going up hill because of the grade. But going down hill i could use 5th almost the entire way because of the grade.
again i run 33's and 3.07's
