So went through and started checking the grounds (again) cleaning as well. the ground behind the valve cover was a real PITA to get to. and i was wondering if was a different location that i could relocate it to?

Take your time and do it right. You've got a good plan.

For Free. If anyone local near Placitas, Albuquerque or surrounding area needs any interior trim pieces in gray or seat belt pieces let me know I'm just trying to get rid of some of my clutter. For free I have both 2 door and 4 door pieces. Plus some door seals.

Plus I have a pretty nice dash off a older XJ for $50.00 no cracks on it.

Grab those seatbelts, especially if they're from the early XJs.
