Hey guys. Im not on here much so i wont see if you message me or write back. But im selling my XJ. Im gonna be getting a Tacoma. I need a bed to haul stuff for hunting and i drove my buddies Taco and i fell in love. This is everything about my jeep. It even has my number at the bottom so yall can text me if interested.
I have a 93 Cherokee XJ Country Edition for sale. Its heavily modified. It has a 4.5 inch Rough Country X-Series lift kit on it. It has 35/1250/15 BF Goodrich KM2s (5) on 15x8 steelies (5). Warrantied through discount tire. What was included with that lift was 4.5 inch front springs. Full rear leafs packs, all 4 shocks, extended brake lines up to 6 inch lift . It came with short arm control arms. I upgraded them to the Iron Rock Offroad long arm y link control arms. Iron Rock Offroad Double Sheer Track Bar. Quick disconnects so you can disconnect the sway bar. Lift kit itself has a life time warranty on it through Rough Country.
The jeep has the 4.0HO motor in it. It was rebuilt by Bud Long Racing. Everything that connects to the motor is brand new besides the actual wiring harness. By everything i mean, new hoses for the radiator, new battery, new starter, new wiring harness for the starter to the battery, new water pump, new power steering pump and its hoses, new steering gear, new t-stat, new temp gauge and new radiator. New fuel injectors. New cap, rotor, plugs and plug wires. It has a Cold Air Intake from Rustys Offroad. It doenst have AC right now. AC needs to be updated to R-134 or if you can find a shop that does R-12 ill sell you some cans of that as well with the jeep.
It has the original 5 speed AX15 transmission that was rebuilt through Tranco Transmission on Eubank. That has a 3 year 36000 mile warranty. I put a new clutch kit from LuK. Has a new shift handle as well that mounts to the transmission. Also has a brand new hydraulic clutch line and master cylinder as well.
It has the NP231 transfer case in it. Its upgraded to HD which just has a wider chain (1 inch) inside for 4 wheeling. It has a SYE (slip yoke eliminator) in it with a Double Cardon Tom Woods drive shaft. That is needed for the amount of lift I have without running a transfer case drop kit so you dont get the rear end vibrations. I had the front and rear drive line rebuilt as well at U-Joint in ABQ.
The axles are D30 in the front and a C8.25 in the rear. I had the axles geared to 4.56 from Yukon with the master rebuild kit at Desert Rat, had new ball joints and u-joints put in on both driver and passenger sides. I put a new Knuckle to Knuckle steering on it as well from Rustys. The rear leafs were shimmed by Desert Rat as well. Has a new track lock differential in rear. Open carrier in front. Has 6 degree shims on it to fix pinion angle. Put a new rear yoke in as well when i did the gears
Put new front and rear brakes on it.
I pulled the original carpet out and put Herculiner on it. I didnt like that so I bought a front passenger carpet kit for it which is installed over top the Herculiner. Also has brand new Rugged Ridge full reclining seats in it. Also has a grant steering wheel installed.
It has a flowmaster 40 series exhaust. Rear exit pipe and front pipe were custom bent from Sandia Muffler.
I painted it Rustoleum Safety Yellow. It has a few coats on it. Not a professional job but looks good. Rhino lined the lower part of the doors and rear panel.
Has a rear receiver for towing. Class III. Is also wired for a winch like you see in the pics to the rear.
I spent a lot of time and money on this thing.
I have over 19k invested in this XJ. All these parts are warrantied one way or another. Either through Rough Country, Autozone where all the parts where bought, the transmission shop or the motor shop.
This is a great 4 wheeling rig that you can still drive on the street.
Im asking 10k obo for it. I think its a fair price. I know i wont get everything i have in it back. And please dont waste my time with low ball offers. Cash always talks.

JK shocks on a XJ
Has anyone ever heard of using JK shocks on a XJ? I read somewhere that this could be done with JK Rubicon shocks with up to 3" of lift on a XJ but I was just wondering if the stock JK shocks from a X-sport trim would fit on the XJ as well.

Done it twice. Need to change the bushings/bars in some of the shocks. No biggie. Has to be a Rubicon IIRC.
