There used to be way better, more difficult, trails up there but a bunch got closed years ago due to erosion and damage to the trails. A lot of what is left seems to be predominantly single track for motorcycles. It's not bad, just nothing too crazy anymore, at least nothing I could find a jeep trail to any more.

It's just south of i-40 on 337 (South 14). It's an actual ohv area. There are maps in the nm Offroad website.

It's the first left after the ranger station. You can google map nm forest rd 242 an that's it.

Idk if you looked at the trail rating meanings but we have no 5's which sound like there perfect for a person like me "5-Stupid; damage to your vehicle is virtually guaranteed; reserved only for purpose-built vehicles with ridiculously large tires and mentally unstable drivers (i.e., these people are nuts!). If you are "into" these kinds of trails, I recommend you wear a helmet . . . and you probably should make sure your health and life insure premiums are up to date!''

Yeah. Tabasco twister was a 4. After watching some videos. I can't image what he thinks a 5 would be.

Are you sure the tops one is close, I think its up I40 closer to toms house and cedro peak, the cimmy trail is close to los lunas, so is jaws of death. This summer when I actually making good money, we can do some camping or something at some of the trail that mike put up
