Yeah I completely agree for what I want my jeep to do its necessary. Im just saying stoping your up travel wont limit your flex because the other side will still drop once you hit bump stops. I plan on trimming even more when when I go to 6 and 33s

You don't really need a brake for the front, only if you want seamless corners if not cut weld and grind. It would be the same affect as for the round bar tack heat tack. The bender makes it easier but not required.

You mean a harbor freight bender? Or as there commonly referred to as "pipe kinker"

Yeah, I eventually will be on 35's and still only 5.5" lift.

I'd really like front fenders like the ones from Jeep Tubes that go up past the body line and still look like factory. For the flares, I want 1.5" pipe, not just round stock. I know that I could just cut and weld, but it would be much harder to make it look clean.

Haha, ive worked with plumbers for along time, seeing people mess up pipe. After doing it for years it gets easy to bend them, use a torch heat it up and it bends easy

I've never tried myself but all I've ever heard about using one of those for fab work is that it's near impossible to get good bends on actual pipe. I'm going to use 1.5". 120“ wall for the flares.

Thats one strong flare. I've been looking at these and thinking about picking up this one, not to bad for a 12,500 lb winch and its waterproof(if I get stuck, its probably going to be real nasty ****)

Well let's see a 12k smitty weights 94 pounds with a non synthinic cable 88lbs with. The smitty X20 10 is 64lbs with lifetime warranty and also waterproof but also 529. Id rather be lighter then heavier. Plus just for a synethic line for the 12k is around 3bills. I know my buddys tj squats noticable when he has his winch on and his was the 12k xrc its pretty big. I've been debating this issue for a while now since I have the space for the winch, I want a heavy pull but I also have trucks at the house in which I could mount them too the heaviest being the cummins. Which I would want to 12k since it won't even notice the weight of it, but also a 10 would work just as fine with a snatchblock

For 350 its awesome, itll get mounted to a plate with a 2" hitch to use on front or back. But it doesnt say the weight unless i missed it. But its not much of a factor as a stroker and gears are inevitable

It didn't say the weight I was just basing it off on the smitty one since they are pretty similar in weight. Well it be more like 400 with shipping.

I'm liking the look of tj flares, and only 150 for a oversized set from rugged ridge.
