Well it says dont use more than 3 so light will come through. I used a whole can like 7 or 8 coats. I used 2 on my jeep lights haven't had a problem yet. But in my jetta I did 3 and they gave me a fix it ticket, all I did was take in an older picture of my car before the tint and they dropped it

For stuff like that I would clean clean clean, then degrease, then lightly sand or wirewheel it, then clean and degrease again, primer, paint, and clear coat (doesnt have to be high gloss). Thats what I did with my wheels and they turned out great with little to no chipping.

Also do light coats, less chance for chips. An since it is on the jeep while you paint it I would get some boxes cut them so they open out and use those to block what you dont want over spray on.

A friend of mine did most of the work. Can't wait to get some lights mounted and get my recovery points on.

Seafoamed my jeep today. After I noticed a slight ticking sound coming from the head that I have never really heard before.
I did notice I have a exhaust leak coming from the donut ring gasket to the downpipe. I tried tightening flange thingy, but its still leaking. I'm hoping this is were the ticking is coming from.
