On another note my PTL ( performance tracking Log) at work is clean now so I'm going to call in tomorrow and me and my dogs are going to head up to the Cedro trail. This is short notice but anyone that wants to tag along let me know. I will be setting off at round 11 AM. If you want to come text me 19707160180

Heyall,

Long time lurker, first-ish time poster.

Got a 98 w/ a 4" RC lift and BF Goodrich ATs 31. Took it up Cedro peak today and it was doing nicely on the easy stuff.

Then we hung right off 462 onto 12..went for a few more miles and came to a bit more of a challenging part. I had a go but wasn't confident being solo so backed out (with a bit of anxiety and relief once i'd made it). It was slippery and with the sway bar connected the front wheels were locking up when i was reversing. Dicey.

Was this the way to the peak or did i make a wrong turn somewhere? Is 12 a more challenging forest road in general?

Can't wait to get back up there with some support. Fun times.

Here's my girl

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking jeep. We usually have some decent sized meetings at least once a month. We'd love to get another xj out there with us.

Last ride, out at puerco

Great jeep pics.

Wanted to know if we have a resident welder here? Looking to do a specialty project needing to connect a square bar with a round at a 90 degree angle. Only needs to support 300-400# on the high side.
