Sooooo how was your week end ?
What a long week end hahaha.....
Decided my ride was too stiff so I changed the leaf spring pack again: mixed and matched with the original ones and definitely got ride of the heavy duty overload fro the bastard pack I had.... feel a little bit smoother.
Any place you guys recommend to get cheap spring clamps ? The only ones I see are at AZ and about $20 per side...
Flushed oil and changed filter. Decided to go for a Wix and Rotella 15W40 for now. Boy this is a noisy engine I have there.... lots of ticking. Soon in order definitely a compression check and hopefully in the winter pulling the valve cover out and the oil pan and check for the internal engine bearings/lifters etc...
Tested the O2sensor and it looks like it is shot. Got the build sheet from Chrysler and they reminded me that apparently the service recall for the O2 sensor has not been done yet. If I am lucky I will get it done for free (fingers crossed there)
Still discovering how my engine is functionning..... got an online manual for Renix engine (thanks boss for paying paper and ink from the printer lol), it is very good and precise I discovered a lot of tricks .....
Now I have a major leak () apparently it is ATF. So coming from the transfer case (since I have a manual). I suspect a seal. It is dripping out the front of the TC along the front shaft and collecting on the skid plate.... Is that a fix that can be done without removing the TC you think ?
I think the other leaks are minor haha but will have to address them sooner or later...
Oh and while doing this I was making a dutch oven pulled pork that won second place to a small local pork cook off competition lol
