hehe that sound like a good idea.. the problem with teenager is the attention spam, and he is very well capable of forgetting what he did... and then I will be screwed lol
More seriously I have the door panel removed to try to fix that passenger window that won't move... tested and wires are fine... looks like it is the motor... so this being expensive and not totally needed... I guess I will not need it lol

But just to make sure.... if I take a car battery, the output should be 12V right ? and I apply it directly to the wires from the motor ... is that a good testing way ? or am I going to get shocked and end up 10 feet away from the door ?
The reason I am asking is because if I check voltage to the last connector, I have + or - 12V depending if I try to raise or lower the window... If I connect the motor and measure at the connector, I have only + or - 6V

What are you guys saying about that ? is that normal ?

and a fully charged battery should read 12.6v if im not mistaking

yeah it was exactly 12.64V....
I am more concerned about the DC part but I guess I'll try it anyway... or better I'll let my son hold the wires so that there will be at least someone in good enough shape to drive to the ER....

Screw some rubber mat to your old flares to make some cheap temporary flares worked for me
