so this weekend we had that run and ya, well it was a blast but not so much... we were supposed to meet up at 8:30 but at 8:15ish i lost the cabin keys and i was thinking it was a sign not to go but ignored it and went so we get up to the parking lot at 10ish and headed out around 10:20ish and not 1/2 a mile down the trail a weld failed on my driver side long arm mount at completely broke off my jeep and was dragging so that took another 30 to get me off the trail.... what a fun time

Dude that SUCKS ^^^ , but at least it didn't happen on the freeway!!! Was it a homemade long arm setup? How did you get off the trail?

Holy crap Mike! That sucks big time, much better to have it happen on the trail than bombing down the freeway though for sure.

no its a local company here in ut, but their was a bolt thats was there so i just used this 3/8 bolt and limped it back to smokincamels trailer loaded it up and took it to the cabin then rode up with another guy but today i drilled a 5/8 hole and used a eye bolt to make me feel better and now im waiting to find someone that can reweld it for me....

i cant figure out if its atf or motor oil the smaller puddle was off of my cross member but i had it all over my bell housing, tranny pan and all the way back to my tcase. its always had a small leak about 1/4 of the size of the small puddle, any ideas on what seal blew out guys?

dude its so dirty i cant even tell. i got this jeep not to long ago and still need to do the tune up. i know i know im slackin haha but it doesnt smell like atf or oil either

ATR members... and anyone else who wants to come, we have a meet-n-greet on Sep. 25th up at af canyon we will meet saturday morning and run mineral basin then coming back to my cabin for dinner and a camp over then sunday we will run forest lake and have lunch up there and chill.

damn you guys do have fun haha so be honest with me and im sorry im still kind of a newb, how hard are the trails you guys go on? would a nearly stock 90 xj with like a 3in lift handle them?
