Its for the roll cage but I'm getting mixed messages on what I need!?!? schdule 40 is .056" wall thickness but refers to PIPE, & metal mart in lehi said schedule 40 is square TUBE? Then Loogle "schedule 40 tube" & it starts talking in russian!!!

Damn it all I want is some 1/4 thick 2.5" O.D. Steel tube, for a beefy A$$ cage... Lol

your going to want 1.75" .120 dom tub and stay away from square tube for a roll cage.... just my opinion

ok schedule 40 is "pipe" and is not meant for roll cages, it is soft, do not use this for a roll cage, use DOM tubing, oh and if you ever order schedule 40 for anything just so you know it is measured by the ID (inside diameter) so your 2.5" schedule 40 would come out to be almost 3" OD just so ya know...

I would use 2" .120 wall DOM tubing for your cage its a safety issue dont cut corners here

Ya why would I want square tube! Lol I seen that most companies are using .120 wall dom 1.75" OD but that seems small diameter wise!?!?

my buddy used 1.75 dom for his exo on his defender 90 and to be honest with ya it really doesnt look that strong, I would do 2" if it were me

.120 of what? If its .120 of an inch then we're talking 1/8"??? Not good

DOM is strong no worries about it being .120 it sounds thin but in DOM tubing form its strong, its 1020 steel, it has a high tensil strength

ya i used 2" .120 dom for my long arms and it is beefy. my buddy built a buggie and full roll cage for his runner. he says use 2" for the outers and then use 1.75" for like cross bars and stuff like that cuts down on the cost a lot.

the largest thickness metal mart has in 1 7/8x .140 wall. but you will be fine with .120 on and look at doubling your lengths the cage cory did on a wrangler (pretty simple) and he used 50'
