hey ryan i am saftey certified and iff you cut the top off the jeep and you put the roll cage on you are going to have major problems trying to get it to pass saftey i really recomend you dont do it unless you are for sure going to trailer it

Ya I'm chopping it... I hotrod zach said he's got people to help get her passed, but it gets towed to moab every year anyways! Plus end of next summer I plan on doing full widths, so I'll go OHV after that!

I'm not a hugh snow wheelin kinda guy, but I'll make a few runs in the winter! I plan on doing a fabric top like on wranglers & the heater still works great... I'll live

and this is another call for help from the mechanically challenged....
Transmission mounts. Anyone is familiar with the transmission mount for the manual BA10/5 ?
The one they gave me at the store does not look like it.... I can;t even put he old one back since the rubber was all separated
Any idea / tips / advice will be welcome as always

I'm not sure on that one Steph, all my experience is with automatics, so I'm no help. Maybe take the old mount to the parts store to match it up?

Yeah no help from the parts stores here, that looks like one of these non-common items for the BA10/5 lol I have found it at autoparts warehouse for $90 something.... sucks a bit but I bet it is still cheaper than the dealership
The rubber fell into parts when I dropped it and 2 out of 4 studs were broken anyway so yeah I guess it was bad
