your lag is probably going to be stock gears, that way to low for 35's i run 4.56 with 35's and its not that bad, just wish i had 4.88

Yeah, definitely the gears. I dont dare go over 4.56 quite yet, but i might upgrade to 37's and an 8" lift, is 4.88 good with 37s?

you will be fine with 4.88 just make sure to regear your speedo, well your going to want to do that anyways but your will be fine either way

Alright, maybe ill just do that, my mechanic says 4.11, but so far nobody i have talked to has ever said that. He just says ill break stuff a lot easier with 4.56 or 4.88.

ya thats a good possibility, but just do chromo shafts and you should be fine or just find a 44 to throw in the front and rear and 35 wont be a problem, but if your wanting to run 37 you want 3/4 or 1 ton axles

I was thinking about finding some ford explorer axles, dana 60s from a junkyard, what do ya think about that?? To much work? I just need to find something cheap and fairly easy. Any other suggestions?

Actually I only think the rear is dana 60, the front is 44 i think

well theirs a lot of popular options, note those are all full widths

ford dana 44 front and 9" rear
dana 60 front and rear
dana 60 front and 14 bolt rear

Hmm, im not sure what to do, how much work would it be to do the 44 front and 9" rear, a lot of fab?

i really dont know that what i think im going to do since im not going over a 35, x1994j (cory) has this set up and my friend thats not on here has it too and they both like it, the 44 are a c-wedge axle and the have 2 types, welded and cast just make sure its the welded
