ah fun i dunno if anyone has told you but if im not mistaking the doors on a xj are a big factor it the structural integrity of the body/ frame

I researched all of that for a long time before i did that, from what I read, people seem to think thats the case, but really its not. I dont think it does...havent had problems yet, but you never know

It wasnt too bad, it was hard to get the hinges to cooperate at first, i just cut my lower hinge off, and then slid the door up and off, so now i just have to slide it back on when i need them on. The electrical all fit inside the plastic panels on the sides and the speakers i mounted up underneath the dash stuff. It probably only took 3 hours to do it all though
