The idle is controled by the trottle possition sensor (TPS) it is in the right hand (driver side) of the trottle body on the front. To adjust it undo the 2 screws & with the engine running twist left to right & allow a few seconds to hear the idle change... Tighten in the desired position! If your having intermitten HIGH idle problems on start up take the TB & TPS off & clean with carb cleanner!

What is cable ? so don;t mess with the cable yet (see #3)
You have a manual shift right ?
You need to figure out why you have a low idle first. So you have 3 solutions....
1/clean everything out in the Throttle body I am sure it needs it
2/pull out the IAC (Idle air controller) and gently clean it you can find ways to test it THIS is the sensor on the front left on your TB and adjust the TPS like Ryan told you. There is a way to do it with a multimeter.
Get some useful info on this page.....
http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/...iagnostics.htm
3/ if everything fail (and it takes time) just bend the metal part that is at the end of the Throttle cable and that rest o a non adjustable screw until you get you idle.
Now this is a last resort you HAVE to find out why you have a low idle first..... clogged vacuum line, unbolted stuff, dirty TB and sensors, failing sensors.... I went through all of them.....
