So I changed the battery again, mine just died... grrrrr I used the warranty (5 month old battery) and got the upgrade from NAPA ended up paying $30 but it is free replacement for 3 years so ....

Track bar changed, it is crazy how this made a diference in the highway speed slight wooble I had lol
Front sway bar bushing received and will be changed soon
Passenger side axle U-joint received and will be changed when I get the courage to tackle it lol

Other than that, nothing much happening up north lol

Tom, how are your new injectors treating you ? still happy with the swap ? How much should I expect to pay for a Junk yard set if I wanted to do that ?

This is the what I think I'm going to go with, its supposed to have pretty good road manners (I DD mine) as well as being pretty capable on the trail. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/ho...01/#post756796 Nice Jeep by the way, sweet find for the $.

Sorry for the delay - I have been sick the last few days and not on the net.
You can say Jason referred you (although this does not mean you get free stuff) It is on 4004 S West temple. While I can't quote prices or anything, I can confidently tell you or anyone that they do great and honest work.

Well I still love the swap! I also did the E3 plugs which helped my fuel economy, price from the yard was about 40 bucks it was easy enough to do it at the junkyard but other than that my jeep hauls *** and gets about 17 mpg on the highway!

Honestly I dont think it matters for a low end locker, I watched a xj go up the escalator in moab with a lockright! First try!!! But if you are planning on going bigger, doing a gear change or want to not have to change springs every 10,000 miles save up and buy a detroit or a e- locker! Remember do it right the first time. A locker like the powertrax and lockright can be installed in about a hour by just about anyone.

Default Good idea

I just spent the last little while looking back through this little thread of ours and had some thoughts. About a year ago, Ryan (builtnotbought89') and I had a discusion about one of us starting a thread for us northern Utah guys to get together, put together some runs and get to know one another. Here we are, a year later and 4400+ posts later I think its safe to say its worked out to be a pretty good decision. I'd like to raise my bottle of Squatters full suspension ale and toast all of the friends we have made, all the friends we will make in the future, as well as all the awesome runs we've been able to all be a part of this last year. I look forward to next years wheelin' and hope next year we can pull off expanding out a little and not only doing a Moab run but also get up into Cache Valley and do a run with the "way northern Utah" guys that might not always be able to make it down south for the runs. Thanks to all of you for making this the busiest thread in the four corners, and a great little cyberspace to spend some time in.

If you just want something good for dirt roads out to the hunting grounds a 2" lift with some 31" tires will get you there, a 4.5 or 6" long arm is designed more for getting over the treacherous stuff (rock crawling).
