Camping
Camping is certainly cheaper, but we will be toting a 6 month old along, and there are enough X-factors involved that I prefer the stability of a room. Plus I don't have a 5th wheel nor a rig that could tow one
I have Monday off work, so I'm planning on driving down after work Friday, and driving home sometime Monday. We should have the birthday boy pick us out some trails to run, and we can get a rough game plan together. I'll be wheeling Sat, Sun, and maybe a little Monday before leaving. One trail I have been dying to see is Rusty Nail. It has some gnarly obstacles, then dumps you onto the end of Golden Spike where you can see the ever popular crack, steps, wall, and Double Whammy. Is anyone else down to shoot for that? I know where the trail head is, but I do not know how straight forward the trail is from there, since I have not done it. I bet Sean is game, but I do not know how many other rigs want to risk it .
