i like running no lights and 30 mph, its more of a challenge that way

plus it fun getting a surprise stop at 30 mph cause of a power pole

Took the jeep out today and need help. When I'm going down hill and push in the clutch it idles down and dies why? And it's only down hill not up hill.

Or running into the back of me cause I have no power left in the batt and the engine died.

does it do it whenever you push in the clutch or only down hills with the clutch in? what yr is the jeep?

I was at 3 diff junk yards the other day, seemed like everyone of them had a motor that was proby good, body damage so the motor should be ok...

I wouldnt pay that much for one. We bought one out of a 99 for 500 for my buddies Jeep. When mine threw a rod I bought a 220K motor for 120.00 bucks, it runs better than the one with 140k that threw a rod. I would say 500 is about right for a nice running engine already pulled.
