i have one out of a 97 that i haven't cut down yet you could try if you'd like.

but when i put in my 44 i had to cut around 3" out of my driveline cause the 44 housing is bigger. you need a longer one?

No... but after the test drive I feel confident that I set them up right! although I should have waited to put the Aussie in, cause I can't listen to my gears with all that clicking back there...

Question for you guys. Obviously the Aussie auto locker is gonna click when your turning at higher speeds, & a lot when turning in reverse, but should it click while just driving straight down the road? It's not a lot, but it is clicking maybe every 75-100 feet. Is this normal & I'm just stressing???

i dunno if they're supposed to do that but, everyone i've ever seen does that, just wait til it "pops" on you when trying to climb something it sounds just like a busted axle shaft and it scares ya good

I would love to try it, or buy it from you if you aren't planning on using it for a spare. I went threw another drive-line about 6 months ago. bought one off KSL said to be form a 2000 auto... but it was 2 inches shorter then mine? i read somewhere that the early models 96 and older? are shorter? IDK if this is true but it was shorter, and with my axle at full droop it is about a 1/2" to short. couldn't bolt it up if I wanted to. But this might also be from stretching my wheel base 2 inches when I installed my axle and long arms.

are the tire pressures off side to side? sounds like one is spinning faster then the other. But ive never ran one so I can't say normal or not.

I figure its gotta be my locker, cause if this noise was my gears I doubt I woulda made it home from the test drive! Lol but its not a quiet clicking like people clame, it might just be that the locker is new as well as the springs... ?

One of my rear tires has more tread than the other... I was also thinking this, but Idk if it should be that sensitive!

I agree, but the locker replaces the spider gears correct? so if one tire moves a little faster then the other it would click/pop... i would just check tire pressure and drive it. I bet its normal.

*edit- I don't know either, just throwing out ideas.. good luck but doesn't sound like a big deal to me.
