For DD heim joints are not going to be your friend. Ideally the 1-ton chev TRE's would be the best route to go. The TRE"s will last longer/better than the heim's. I was running a setup with DOM, CHev 1-ton TRE"s. It would have worked great except the guy I bought the axle from drilled the knuckles out to 7/8" and used the TRE inserts instead of reaming the knuckles. The inserts kept going to crap, even after I welded a couple of them in they would waller out and I kept getting slop in the steering. I recently re did the steering with 7/8" heims. Much more responsive, but I don't DD it either.
You should make a decision soon though, if you dont pick up those knuckles on RME I just might snag them.

I know I need to go on a run to, I don't have a 35" spare tho and I tore a HUGE chunk out of my sidewall. So I'm scared to go offroad ha, but I Lincoln locked my 8.8- its awesome except I am not running sway bars at all so turning I max out my flex front and rear and the side of my jeep basically touches the ground. Its not fun.

Got my locker figured out (I think)... I was missing a shim that goes behind the side spiders lol 1 side stayed in the carrier, & the other came out with the gear! haha putting it back together now! Hope that does it! DUH
Kinda wish I would have aussie locked the front, & Lincoln locked the rear.
