sorry but no, its all the same axle, same gears, same carrier, same control arms, same bushings. there is no difference at all. sorry there is one difference, all TJ's ZJ's and WJ's are all low pinion, the XJ, MJ, had high pinions in the early yrs with smaller u-joints

well i guess since evo only really only deals with tj and jk's i assume thats why they only said those two. and i am assuming these are the sleeves that slide inside of the housing in between the seals to keep dirt and crap completely out of the tubes right?

if so, they will not work with a disconnect axle. just a little more info for ya

might want to re think your info mike.

plus low or high pinion don't matter when it comes to the tube lengths.

really? interesting. from what I have READ his statment is "true"...

the XJ are HP threw 99, then 2000-2001 are LP right?
the 2000-2001 front axle is the same as a TJ as in LP,calipers, rotors wont fit earlyer xj's?

not that this matters to me just curiouse as I have miss information too? just want to be able to be correct...

ok i'll rephrase to mike your info is almost correct

XJ's HP 84-99 the majority (there were a few rare ones in 85-88 that had the LP) plus can't forget the disconnect that was put in a lot until 91 lol
XJ's 99 1/2-01 got a LP axle due to the redesign of the exhaust manifold and downpipe.

TJ's 97-06 (except rubicon)were LP
TJ and TJ unlimited rubicon ALL had a 30/44 hybrid HP axle

ZJ's 93-95 without v-8 HP
ZJ's 95-98 LP 30 in all

WJ's 99-04 HP 30 in all

now all this CAN be interchanged BUT, lets say you want to put a HP 30 in you 2000 XJ but don't wanna buy new brakes and such for the LP you just bent. well it's simple, the only thing different was the knuckle out. if you swap knuckles, calipers rotors, uni bearings brake pads everything will work fine.

i had a HP30 out of a 93XJ at one point that everything from the inner C out was all for an 88. i also had a housing out of a 87 or 88 can't remember that everything from the knuckle out was all 96 stuff. (thats the one i gave tom)

hope that kinda cleared things up a bit
