I plan on hitting some smaller steps on the SW area of the play ground, then back around to the mud bog on the back side. We'll make our way up to the mine, cause I & the family have never seen it.
I think you should look back over the last 1000 posts & report back with a count of ATR runs we have pushed on people vs your NAXJA runs. We have a private section for our official runs as do you. The difference is people ask us about ATR! So thanks for the invites, but please keep it over there.

i have the stock 46RH, but since i have gone threw 2 in my previous zj's, i figured i would try to make this one last longer! I have two tranny coolers with auxilary E-fans. The fans are wired up to toggle switches, i have a temp gauge that tells me how hot the tranny is. driving around i dont usually turn them on, but offroad i flip one on-when im rock crawling i flip both on to keep it at about 150-160F. if it gets to cool i shut one off until the 2nd is needed again

and 10yrs ago before they shut the rd down the barrick-mercur mine was awesome looking. don't get me wrong its still cool but as usual a lot has changed, but the main pit is still there though. i mainly wanna go up and get a few better pics of the main pit.
and i'll go back and look, i just toss out an invite cause i thought you were like me and wheeled with whoever was going guess i was wrong. just to wheel hell i'll go with pretty much anyone at least once. the only thing that stops me from going back is if they are inconsiderate wheelers with no trail etiquette that pretty much drives where they want. and people only ask about ATR cause you all have big blinding yellow words that people are curious about ha ha
plus i wasn't talking about runs i was talkking about just pushing ATR on to every new guy here, ya in the last couple weeks we've posted 2 runs up(sorry if that was to much for you to handle) and just cause i put my trip report on NAXJA then post up the link here so if anyone wants to check it out, is not pushing. its just hosting. i put it on NAXJA cause it gets archived and easy to find later than here where it gets buried in pages and pages of threads
.

it's awesome if it's working great, too cool means crappy performance and to hot means no more tranny, i think i'd go your route to if i burned up a couple already LOL

Its been a while since I went to the bog strip, but it might be a little to deep this year! I'm sure your a Hella cool guy to wheel with, & I can put our differences aside if you wanna go play around at five mile! Wouldn't mind checking out you tube work as well. I don't know what interstate brick is, but the steps are on the south side of the highway, west end of the mtn range. The first step is a good 3'-4' step up but only 1'-2' steps after that!
As far as our bickering, you say tomato I say tomAto... the newbs know who's pushing what!

and it sounds like now the steps you are talking about is the start of the old charlies trail. which if it is they are supposed to be closed with the rest of the trail, now i'm curious. i wanna hike up and see what charlies trail looks like now days since it hasn't been driven since '98. (well legally)
oh and i don't like tomato's or tomAto's

That whole area is played/camped on regularly! there are no signs saying its closed, so you must be thinking of another spot.
As far as Pissin me off... I'm golden. Just to help you & NAXJA out though, it might help your cause if you didn't come across so cocky on the boards! Who knows the intermountain chapter might have a decent turnout lol

If there is one thing I know, Derek knows alot about most jeeps and the areas we wheel. Count the number of years you spent wondering trails, just to see where they lead Derek
NAXJA is Derek's home. It's where he started out at, and we all have a site we favor. And if you ever notice on the back of the Yota there is a NAXJA stick as I am a member. Like most I float from group to group depending on whats going on. I have a few friends, Derek being one that I have known since high school. We grew up wheelin together and are the group I find to be the most knowledgeable with vehicles and the art of wheeling. Their parents started out at the 2nd Easter Safari if I'm correct. I'm more then a few years behind them lol.
The Cherokee forum/ATR people are on the boards, talking about builds and such. I like the interactive of everyone and seeing what people come up with in their builds. It sucks we can't get everyone out at the same time. It would be a mass amount of rigs everywhere lol. Would have to be at lil moab where we have the room.
Early morning/ late night rant over. Good night people

thats the trans i thought you had just wasn't positive, 150-160 has no effects on performance? i don't know a lot about those tranny's but usually they are happy at around 180-190, a little less than the aw4.
it's awesome if it's working great, too cool means crappy performance and to hot means no more tranny, i think i'd go your route to if i burned up a couple already LOL
